High-achieving cattle sales are a regular part of International Dairy Week and the industry is still talking about the record set last year.
A Holstein calf with a superb genetic history sold for $251000 at the Wednesday night sale.
The calf was owned by Declan Patten and Callum Moscript, who were expecting strong interest but didn’t quite expect it to get that high.
Young Kyabram farmer Charlie Lloyd led the winning calf onto the auction stage.
